Does this work with any vTiger plan?

It requires vTiger's cloud edition — the integration uses vTiger's REST API, which isn't available on the Community edition.

Can unknown callers be added as Leads instead of Contacts?

Yes — you can choose whether new callers are created as a Lead or a Contact.

Are calls logged automatically?

Yes, both outgoing and incoming calls generate a call journal entry in vTiger.
