Applies to: Yealink T54W, Yealink SIP-T85W, Yealink SIP-T87W

Steps

5 steps to get it done

1

Open Bluetooth settings

From the home screen, go to Menu > Basic > Bluetooth (the exact path may be Settings > Basic Settings > Bluetooth depending on your model and firmware).

2

Turn Bluetooth on

Enable the Bluetooth toggle on the phone.

3

Put your headset in pairing mode

Check your headset's manual for how to enter pairing mode — it's usually a long-press of the power or call button until an LED flashes.

4

Scan for the headset

On the phone, select Scan. It will search for discoverable Bluetooth devices within about 10 metres and list them.

5

Select and connect

Choose your headset from the list to pair and connect it.

Tips:

  • Keep the headset and phone within about 10 metres with no walls or doors between them during pairing.
  • Once paired, most headsets reconnect automatically to the phone whenever both are powered on and in range.
