How to Set Up the 3CX Mobile App
The 3CX app lets you make and take calls on your business extension from your mobile — here's how to get it set up in a couple of minutes.
4 steps to get it done
Download the app
Get the 3CX app from Google Play (Android) or the Apple App Store (iOS).
Open your welcome email
Find the "Your User Account on your New 3CX System" email WiseCloud or your administrator sent you.
Scan the QR code
Open the QR code scanner within the 3CX app and scan the code at the top of the welcome email — your extension sets up automatically.
Alternative: scan from the web client
If you don't have the email handy, log into the web client on a computer, click your avatar, then "Scan QR Code" to provision the app from there instead.
Tips:
- On Android, open the welcome email with the Gmail app specifically — it handles the setup attachment most reliably.
- Lost your welcome email? Contact WiseCloud and we can resend it.
Quick answers
Do I need a computer to set up the mobile app?
No — scanning the QR code in your welcome email with the app itself is enough. The web client method is just an alternative if that email isn't available.
What if I never received a welcome email?
Contact WiseCloud and we'll resend it so you can get set up.
